The MVHD-1 features patented corregated interlocking crushing plates, which mangle storage platters, circuit boards, and read/write heads of the hard drive discs. Designed to handle 2.5” and 3.5” HDDs, cell phones, and PDAs, the Datastroyer MVHD-1 provides 40,000 pounds (20 tons) of hydraulic force to completely destroy your media. The MVHD-1 is fully automated: simply load your drive, close the opening, and press a button. Destruction cycle time is 30 seconds or less. It’s compact size makes it perfect for desktop use and is easy to transport.
