Product Description
The Datastroyer 1215 strip cut paper shredder produces long strips of paper that are ¼” wide. One of the benefits of a strip cut shredder is that it requires little to no maintenance compared to the cross cut version. The strip cut model also has a greater capacity and is able to shred CDs, DVDs, credit cards, and more.

42 sheets per pass for a shredder at this price? It's hard to turn it down. The 12" throat seems unimportant but over the life of a shredding system you'll be glad you chose it. The Datastroyer 1215 is still not quite a one-shredder-solution though. I would lean towards the Datastroyer 1615 or 1628 if you were looking to cover a whole office.

This was exactly what I needed. Not the biggest shredder in the world, but the strip cut sure does take care of our end of the day shred pile quickly.
