The Datastroyer 1215 Cross Cut paper shredder cuts paper into small particles. The best part about upgrading to the 1215 isn't the increased shredding capacity. Although that's nice, it's really the 12" throat width. Let's face it, a stack of paper is rarely in a perfect rectangle. With a standard 9" throat you have to carefully feed small stacks in one direction. But the 12" throat lets you put paper in no matter what direction it's stacked. Very handy.
