The Datastroyer DCS-600 office disintegrator, dual phase operation with a paper shredder, a 3/32” screen, one-micron filter system, heavy-duty fan cyclone, and a feed rate meter. This disintegrator can destroy CDs, DVDs, credit cards, cassettes, ID badges, and more. It is NSA approved and meets NSA/CSS specification 02-04 for optical media.
The Datastroyer DCS-600 disintegrator is able to obliterate CDs, DVDs, credit cards, cassettes, keytape, ID cards, microfilm, floppy disks, memory sticks, and more as they pass through a 3/32” screen to meet level 6 standards. With the optional Whitaker XtracteR, users do not have to worry about removing metal clips as the machine is able to remove them. The dual phase operation includes a 9.5” paper shredder and a 2” x 9” media feed slot. Having a one-micron filter system on this D.O.D approved disintegrator allows for return-to-room air filtration and no dust. The feed rate meter lets users monitor the operational capacity of the unit. This disintegrator has a throughput of 100 lbs/hr and can process media at 3,500 CDs or DVDs per hour. Whitaker Staff Review: The Datastroyer DCS-600F is a fully self contained disintegration system. It's a big step up from the DCS 100 and 300 below it, and the throughput reflects that. The added pounds per hour aren't the only benefit though. There is also a more generous 55 gallon waste container and the Whitaker XtractR for removing metal bearings or screws. On the very top you can see a feed rate meter which helps dictate how close to capacity you're making the disintegrator work. All added together, for an office environment, the DCS-600F is the best disintegrator on the market.
