Whitaker Staff Review: This is a very unique disintegrator. Although open rotor designs are easily superior to closed rotor systems, we opted to use a closed rotor on the Datastroyer 105-HardDrive for increased inertia. The resulting force literally bludgeons hard drives to pieces 25% faster than the competition. No need to remove the platters, throw the whole thing in. Physical destruction is especially crucial because a degaussed hard drive looks exactly like a still-sensitive hard drive.
